To Our Dear Patients,

 

I am writing to inform you that I will be taking an extended sabbatical from the practice of ophthalmology, beginning August 31, 2026. In an abrupt decision, my office suite at 9 Lake Bellevue Suite 105, Bellevue Washington 98005, along with several other suites and practices in the same building, are being sold by the owner.

 

I have hastily looked at many potential office spaces in Bellevue, and in the surrounding community, but have not been able to find a suitable medical office space into which I might relocate my practice, thus far. I will keep looking.

Should I locate a new office space for my practice to be relocated to, it will be listed at the website, www.KennethMortonMD.com, in the future.

 

As it is unclear at the present time, what my future plans will be, I wish to encourage you to find continuity of care by way of your family doctor who might be able to refer you to another ophthalmologist in your community or by way of your insurance company, The Washington State Medical Association, The King County Medical Society, or local hospital referral network, or you may return to your eye doctor who initially referred you in consultation. If someone wishes to obtain copies of their medical records, this can be done by the submission of your written request on the authorization form on our website, www.KennethMortonMD.com. A processing fee of $6.50 per patient applies to medical records requests. Documents will be delivered via encrypted email.
